Zotter Chocolate - The sweet side of life

At the beginning of the 1990ies, Mr. Zotter set out to discover the individual nuances of flavour of the cocoa bean. With a little creativity, curiosity, ambition and, most important, a large portion of experience and research, the chocolate maker is now producing about 150 chocolate creations, such as banana-curry, apple-balsamico vinegar, greaves-nut, pumpkin seed with marzipan, etc.
At the Zotter chocolate-makers in Bergl at the foot of Riegersburg fortress, modernity is combined with tradition. The people working here add their craftsmanship and experience to each chocolate bar they produce. Sepp Zotter has switched the entire production to fair trade produce.

A short while ago, the two pioneers of culinary pleasures, Zotter and Gölles (spirit distillery and vinegar makers in Riegersburg) started to work together. Gölles bottles the spirit of chocolate through careful and gentle distillation in copper vats. The name of these delicacies? "Chocolate Spirit" and "Chocolate Liquor". These special spirits are offered in our vinothèque. Why not take a bottle home with you?

Since 2006 we have been cooperating with the chocolate manufacturers and offer various drink chocolates at our café, such as chilli, nut-nougat, bourbon-vanilla, rum-coconut, etc. We also offer various chocolate bars.

Saturday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm
Closed on Sundays and holidays.
